When Samuel (Sammy) came to Lusungu Children's Home, he was severely malnutrition. He was left with his grandparents who were not able to care for him and abandoned him at the age of 4. When he arrived at LCH, he was barely able to walk and spent a majority of his time sleeping. But after eating a diet high in protein and vegetables, his health greatly improved and there was a significant change within six months of his arrival.

If there’s someone you can count on to be right by your side, it’s Sammy. He loves being around people and will win your heart with his gentle speech. He loves playing soccer, studying English and when he grows up he wants to be an engineer.

As a donor, you're directly impacting the children in need. Your support provides for the children’s physical well-being, gives the children an opportunity to attend school, helps maintain a healthy and safe home and an opportunity to know Jesus and become agents of transformation in the community. Gifts from donors are pooled together to support Lusungu Children’s Home as one family unit. This approach allows us to designate funds to all children equally.
