Sunday

Sunday was born in the Northern part of Zambia. As a young child, his father died and mother was found to be mentally ill. The government rescued him and his sister Mercy and they were placed in the care of the Lusungu Children's Home.

Introspective and creative, Sunday can often be found inventing toys and instruments with objects he finds. This witty, bright boy is a gifted athlete and loves a good prank. His favorite subject is social studies. When he grows up he’d like to be an accountant.

Your support provides for the children’s physical well-being, gives the children an opportunity to attend school, helps maintain a healthy and safe home and an opportunity to know Jesus and become agents of transformation in the community. Gifts from donors are pooled together to support Lusungu Children’s Home as one family unit. This approach allows us to designate funds to all children equally.
