Wendy

Wendy was born as a result of early marriage. Her mother was married off at age 13 but at age 19 she was abandoned by her husband who left her with Wendy and 2 other children. Despite all the efforts she made, she was unable to provide for the family so Wendy and her sister Jennifer and brother Chibwe were brought to Lusungu Children's Home to be cared for.

Wendy is a shy girl with a sweet spirit. Her favorite subject is science and she wants to use it to be a nurse someday. Her favorite bible story is the story of Ruth.
