Why A Short-Term Mission Trip?
The vision of MKA was birthed out of a mission trip and missions is part of our DNA. We have seen the impact of trips to LCH, not only in the faces of children, but in the individuals who experience the joy of serving others first-hand. It is through these trips that lives are changed and deep-rooted relationships are built.
Our goal is that each team would use their unique talents and abilities to serve the children and community. We have witnessed the incredible impact that these teams have on the children and the difference it makes on individual lives.
Team Opportunities
Teams can serve in a number of different ways:
- Vacation Bible School
- Educational or Life Skills Clinic
- Recreational or Sport Community Camp
- Economic Empowerment Seminar
- Construction and/or Maintenance Projects
- Medical or Health Clinic
Since 2012, we’ve organized trips for groups and individuals who desire to serve the children at Lusungu Children’s Home and the city of Chingola.
